Oil is a precious thing

In class we learn about the excessive oil use is causing us to have an oil crisis. Now we are overcoming this oil crisis, we have to value this source because with out this source pretty much we will not going to be having cloths, fuel, medicine, make up, shoes, etc. I also know that we are depending on oil to because with out it we could not bring products form other countries, for example water, fruits, and other resources we need to survive. What we need to do is to use other things that would not need the use of to much oil. We could be building sun car, sun boats, and other thing that will not need to much oil. We could also recycle bags, cans, and or any other resource we could recycle so we could use it over and over again. Well by recycling everything that is recyclable. We motivate other by helping them recycle or by helping them out in different ways. I think I would not be slipping back in the old habits because we look at the oil usage and what could happen if we could not help the environment and think about new ideas to decrease the oil usage.

Life without Sea Creatures

Today I woke up and I turn on the TV to the news channel to see what was going on in the freeways when suddenly the news lady said that there was an explosion on the Gulf of Mexico. Few persons where dead but the worst thing it’s that the whole tube where oil comes from the ground was open in the bottom of the ocean and it was throwing thousand of oil as we speak.. Environmental; sea life will be lost due to the oil spill, if they don’t stop the oil spill as quick many of the sea life animals will be extinct. This will also affect the Economical because the Sea Food restaurants’ will be losing more and more money because they will not have any see food to feed the hungry clients. I do care for the poor sea life animals, if they were to need help I would gladly help with out any cost.

Salads OR NO Salads

Yesterday I went to the store to get everything needed for tomorrow because we are going to celebrate my cousin’s birthday party. I’m in charge of making my famous salads. Things that I would need are tomatoes, carrots, radish, chicken, and lettuce. I ran down the block to the mini market, when I got there I asked the owner if they had chicken and fresh produce. The owner responded, “what you see there is all we have.” When I looked around, the store was almost empty. To my surprise, the owner said “we won’t be shipping in anymore more merchandise because we’re closing due to the oil crisis.”

The next morning I had to drive across town to a market I thought would have what I needed. I was lucky enough that they had everything I needed, so I bought them and hurried back home so I could have the salads ready by 3 this afternoon. I arrived at the party early and was glad to have the salads ready for the party. At the end of the day I could not believe how dependent we are on oil; we need it to ship produce in and out of towns, drive to far away places, and grow our crops. I can’t imagine how things are going to be looking in the next year if this keeps going on.

Organic Food vs. Non Organic Food

SOURCE:xanga

Today i decide that i am going to cook for my friends to celebrate one of their birthdays. I got up so early in the morning to i could have everything ready for the night. I went from store to store looking for tomatoes, bell pepper, and chilies, but i could not find none! I thought of a little place i knew about since i was little cause my mother use to go there so i drove from Downey city to Compton city. When i got there many people were talking about organic and non organic food products cause the sells clerk was anouncing that we have organic products and non organic products. I ran to the organic line so i could find me some tomatoes, bell peppers, and some chilies when i realize that the pound of everything was about 4 dollars, and the non organic products were about 2 dollars. I thought well i would get the organic becasue i dont like products that are spray by Chemicals. I bought everything and then back home it was like around noon. I said to my self i will make the special dinner for my friend now that i got everything. I never realize that oil can affect us in many different things where from clothing, to make, to food products....I cant not imagen how will going to survied with out any food products if the oil was to disaper.

"Food Activity"

Today in class we did a food activty. I found this activity surprising because i realice that for example water it is like 2476 miles away from Los Angeles , imagen that how much gas is the truck going to waste. I think that real soon we are going to be in a Oil Crisis because the waste gas just to bring food products to L.A. Lots and lots of trailers come and go everyday out of L.A. I can't imagen if there is no more food products in L.A because i can't live with out food.

No flights today!

Today i arrived to the airport at Iceland. I was wondering why was it so lonely....i notice that all that all the flights, have been cancelled due to the eruption of the volcano call Eyjafjallajokull. Many passangers went home disapointted because they were not going to fly or go home in the next couple of days. I was sad because i was not to see my family for a while more..i think that the airport lost many thousands of dollars due to the eruption of the volcano. well i dont know and i dont know when i leaving, but hopefully will get back on track the next day.

Supply: is when a seller decides how much to sell and the seller puts the price. Demand: Is when a person or persons are willing and able to buy any items.

Something that was interesting to me about the oil quiz on that quiz.com was that "Even after oil production in an area declines, there is still a substantial amount of oil remainning in the ground." These is a true fact. There are still many areas where the are oil but still people dont know about until the start digging in a certian are.
